Arturo Green is a self-taught artist who received the calling of art many years after his initial essays with oil painting as a teen-ager. His professional and business activities were his priority till 2011 when living in the city of Leon, Mexico, discovers anew his artistic vein and decide for china ink. Without a previous plan, he lets his pen run on through unending labyrinths of forms evocative of the infinite forms of chaos, as those that modern science has revealed us. Every drawing is a detailed and reiterative curvilineal journey through the pictorial surface. Is an exercise requiring many hours of work aided by a magnifying glass.

Those who see his work experience a similar feeling as seeing how leafs encircle a tree, how crystals are formed, the dancing of a flock of birds in the sky or of a shoal of fishes in the sea. As in quantic spaces, the overwhelming exploration of details becomes a disturbing impression when seeing the whole entity they shape. Some of his works suggest the form of an emotion, sometimes free, sometimes racking. You cannot remain indifferent

 

In the search for artistic growth and exploration of different techniques, he has created magnificent works, in addition to Chinese ink, engraving and photography. His works are in various parts of the world and have been gifts for representatives of countries such as ministers and presidents, among others.
